Make a Statement

There's so many ways to make a statement with fashion.  Bright colors can make an instant impact or pop to an outfit right down to a crazy printed shoe!  In fashion, the possibilities are endless.  Like myself, it's constantly changing and evolving.  The fun part about fashion is that it also recycles.  The old is new and the new will soon enough be old.  Anyhow, I haven't had much time to blog as much as I would like, but when I saw this necklace at H&M I was excited to get it because I was on the hunt for a fun statement necklace.  For a person that loves accessories, this is a great piece to add to your collection because it has both gold and silver tones so you won't be limited to wearing just gold or just silver with it.  The colorful stones add that extra fun spring and summer flair with just enough edge to make that statement with a simple casual outfit.  Today I wore it with a denim vest from Zara over a striped tank paired with black skinnies and flats.  The other accessory piece I added to my outfit of the day was a gold Casio watch from American Apparel.  I know some people don't know what to do when it comes to accessories.  A statement necklace will more than likely be a quick and easy step to help build an outfit around.  If anything, a statement necklace could be a great conversation piece for an upcoming event or party.  Dare to be different and dare to make a statement.
